Bill B. Benson, 64, Goshen, died Jan. 18 in a Fayetteville hospital. Born April 3, 1910, at Elkins, he was the son of William H. and Julia E. Kelly Benson and served with the U.S. Army in World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Benson of the home; one son, Bobby Joe Benson, serving with the U.S. Air Force in Germany; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Jean Thompson, Springdale, and Mrs. Julia Ann Gustafson, Goshen; one brother, Clyde Benson, Goshen; four sisters, Mrs. Lois Sawyer, Springdale, Mrs. Lynn Dyer and Mrs Freeman Boatright, Elkins, and Mrs. Rebecca Glaze, Phoenix, Ariz.; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Goshen Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Don Reed officiating. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
