Note:
His mother died shortly after giving birth to Jimmy. After her death, her two youngest children, Cora and Jimmy, went to live with her husband's brother, Frank McCarty, and his wife, Mollie Butler McCarty, who was Clara's niece. Infant Jimmy died only a few weeks after going to live with Frank and Molllie. Cora stayed with them until she was about 5, when she went back to live at home with her father and siblings.
