Kenneth Iburg, 76, of Conway, passed away Friday, October 31, 2008 at his home.
He was born July 5, 1932 in Pleasant Valley, to the late Clarence and Morrine (Cargile) Iburg. He was employed by Westinghouse for 19 years and retired from Kimberly Clark – Conway Mills after 26 years of service.
Kenneth was an Army National Guard veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Dessie (Poe) Iburg; three daughters, Debbie Robertson and husband Lynn of Hot Springs, Sandra Kay Scharf and husband John and Beverly Gail Iburg, all of Conway; one brother, Clarence Iburg, Jr. of Clinton; one sister, Doris Singleton of Beaverdam, KY; grandchildren, Sundi Robertson of Hot Springs, Robbie Robertson of Maumelle, Winsor Cannon of Conway, Malea Dunham of Austin, TX, Jacob Iburg of Conway, Mandee Robertson of Hot Springs, and Jessica Wells of Heber Springs; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, Raymond Iburg, Donald Eugene Iburg, and Paul Joe Iburg.
Funeral services will be Monday at 3:00 p.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, Bro. Ron Theis officiating. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Holland.
Visitation is Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers: Tom Day, Mike Weaver, Andy Shock, Grindell “Speedy” Price, Ronnie McGaha, and Jerry Mauldin. Honorary pallbearers: Aubrey Akisson and John Ray.
