Eddie's Family Funeral Home
Vedrun Horace Hall, son of the late Arvil Hall and Virgie Foster Hall, was born January 10, 1926 in Calico Rock, Arkansas. He departed this life April 15, 2015 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 89 years, 3 months and 5 days. He was united in marriage to Stella Bowman May 27, 1949 in Norfork, Arkansas and to this union five children were born. He spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, great great grandfather, provider and friend. During his working years he was a Share Cropper and Carpenter. He was of the Assembly of God faith and a member of Galatia Assembly of God Church near Norfork.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years: Stella Hall of the home; three sons and two daughters-in-law: Bobby Lee and Bevely Hamilton of Greensburg, Alabama, Vedrun Dale Hall of Norfork and Roger Joe and Cindy Hall of Jordan; one daughter and son-in-law: Sue and Rodney May of Mountain Home; two brothers: Loren Dane Hall of Stockton, Missouri and Ray and Deloris Hall of Calico Rock; one sister: Wilma Wyatt of Calico Rock; nine grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; three great, great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter: Brenda Havner; three brothers: Bill Hall, Charlie Hall, Collan Hall; two sisters: Bernice Moody Vines and Mildred Southard and one infant sister: Marilyn Hall.
Funeral service will be Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Galatia Assembly of God Church with Joey Bryant officiating. Burial will be at Galatia Cemetery under the direction of Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock. Visitation will be Friday, April 17 from 6-8 p.m. at Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.
Pallbearers: Corey McCormack, Tracy Hall, Blake Faulkner, Eric Faulkner, Darrin Wyatt and Thomas Davis.
Honorary Pallbearers: Shannon Hall, Brandon Tharp, Hunter Davis, Trenton Hall, Tristan Hall, Nathan Hall, Derrick McCormack, Caleb Hamilton and Sean Griffin.
