May 29, 1936 - June 19, 2004
Chuck Malone, 68, of Corning, Ark. died Saturday at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center in Dyersburg, Tenn. He was the son of James E. Malone and Gertrude (Campbell) Malone.
Mr. Malone was retired from the United States Air Force. He served as a deputy sheriff of Clay County, Ark. for 10 years before retiring. He was a former employee of the Randolph County Sheriff's Department and a former mayor of Maynard, Ark. He enjoyed fishing, camping, yard work and working with dogs.
On July 6, 1998, he married Patty Lynn Pulliam.
Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. The funeral service was at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Larry Hughes officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Corning Library in Corning, Ark.
