Jim Williams, 77

Jim Williams, age 77, of Flippin, Arkansas went to walk with the Lord Monday, November 16 at 3:45 pm at his home, surrounded by his family and friends.

Mr. Williams was born September 3, 1938 in Cotter, Arkansas to the late Troy "Ben Duck" Granville and Ruby (Petty) Williams. He was an avid Hot Rodder and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. God knows he never met a stranger and touched many, many hearts. A Navy veteran, he had worked in construction and was part of the White Sands "Coffee Club". He was a life member of Antioch Baptist Church of Flippin, Arkansas and he loved his church family dearly.

Jim is survived by his wife of 34 years, Debbie Williams; five children: Charlie and Candee Williams of Gamaliel, Arkansas; Angie and Mark Herlihy of Camden, Delaware; Critter and Kim Williams of Bentonville, Arkansas; Justin and Nichole Williams of Elkins, Arkansas; and Scott and Barbara Klein of Novi, Michigan; his siblings: Elva and Art Helms of Fort Worth, Texas; Joe and Monica Williams of Flippin, Arkansas; Lea and George Wells of Farmington, Arkansas; Judy and the late J.B. Briggs of Flippin, Arkansas; Mike and Brenda Williams of Fairview, Arkansas; twelve grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Sue Hunter.

Visitation for Mr. Williams will be 6:00 - 8:00 pm Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Antioch Baptist Church in Flippin, Arkansas.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Sunday, November 22, 2015 at Antioch Baptist Church in Flippin with Bro. Danny Hutcherson officiating.

Interment will follow at Flippin Cemetery in Flippin, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Justin Williams, Critter Williams, Tyler Herlihy, Ryan Hodges, Derek Ivens, Dusty Martin, and Charlie Williams.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dale Smith, Charlie Smith, Charlie Martin, Charlie Willet, Greg Hopper, and Mike Hopper.
