March 25, 1893 - August 3, 1973
Moland George Goodwin, 80, of the Frenchport Community, died Friday night in a local hospital. Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Proctor's Chapel, with burial in Arlington Cemetery near El Dorado. Mr. Goodwin had lived in this vicinity for 24 years. He was a retired construction worker, a veteran of World War I, and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Camden. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gladys Bradshaw Goodwin; one son, Moland G Goodwin, Jr of Dothan, Ala.; one step-son, Jimmy Crawford of Pine Bluff; three daughters, Mrs. Travis Hendricks of Pine Bluff, Mrs. P. D. Gathright of Huttig, and Mrs. Zane Ellen of Waverly, Tenn.; two brothers, Clayton and Glen Goodwin, both of El Dorado, three sisters, Miss Madie Goodwin, Mrs. Lela Parker, and Mrs. Doris Johnson, all of Hot Springs; 13 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
