A. B. (Rip) Rippeto, 66, 242 Hazel St., Hot Springs, a former resident of El Dorado, died at 8:55 a.m. Tuesday in Lakewood Rest Home in Hot Springs after a protracted illness. Mr. Rippeto was born March 22, 1897 the son of Thomas and Adeline Snodgrass Rippeto. He was a retired steamfitter, a member of the Oaklawn Baptist Church and Mason Centerton Lodge 562 F&AM of Bentonville. He is survived by his widow, three daughters, Mrs. Polly Wilson and Mrs. Bernice Williams, both of Benton and Mrs. Quyde Williams, San Pablo, Calif.; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Peggy Stratton, Stamps; three sisters, Mrs. Richard Bolton, Compton, Calif., Mrs. Mollie Lestenberger, Glenwood, and Mrs. Nancy Blocker, Los Angeles; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Masonic graveside services will be conducted by the El Dorado Masonic Lodge No. 13. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Young's with the Rev. W. F. Lovelace officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery. Pallbearers will be a E. A. Patterson, Jim Fernald, J.L. Massey, J.E. Haynie, Lester Little and Leo McGriff. (The El Dorado Times - April 16, 1964)
