April 23, 1888 - February 28, 1966
Alvin J. Wages, 78, died Monday afternoon in a local hospital. Mr. Wages a native of Norphlet had made his home in Camden for the past several months with his daughter, Mrs. Douglas Waddell. Other survivors include three grandchildren and several brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Methodist Church of Norphlet, with Young Funeral Home of El Dorado in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Mark Methodist Church, Camden. (Camden News - March 1, 1966)
