Dexter Glenn Hardin, 63, of Smithville, died Aug. 8, 2012, at his home.
Born Oct. 6, 1948, in Riverside, Calif., he was a construction worker and of the Baptist belief. He was a Vietnam War veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy Seabees.
He was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Lee Hardin; and his father, Glenn Hardin.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Hardin; two sons, Keith Hardin, Paragould, and Dennis Hardin and wife Shanna, Pocahontas; a daughter, Penny Crabtree and husband Anthony, Cord; his mother, Wanda Hardin, Jonesboro; a sister, Diane Hinton, Jonesboro; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral was Saturday at noon at the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Lynn with Bro. Terral Neeley and Dr. Terry Wallace officiating. Burial was in Ward Cemetery under the direction of Bryan Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Carl Durham, Eric Highfield, James Allen Anderson, Randall Gawf, Wesley Foushee and Jerry Davis. Honorary pallbearers were Gardener Clinton, Billy Dean Durham and Donald Dickison.
