Bobby Sam Hargrove, 82, of Greenbrier, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015.
He was born December 7, 1932 in Greenbrier, Arkansas to Robert "El" Hargrove and Floy Watson Hargrove of Greenbrier.
He was ordained as a deacon in 1971 and taught Sunday School class for over 25 years before he was called home. He and partner Sonny Harris owned and operated H&H Asphalt Company for 27 years serving the Faulkner County and outlying areas.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Delena Hargrove of Greenbrier, sons, Stan Hargrove and wife Tammy Hargrove and Jimmy Hargrove both of Greenbrier, four grand-children Jennifer (Matt) Cotton of Monticello, Ashley Hargrove of Greenbrier, Nick Hargrove of Greenbrier, and Jared (Mallory) Hargrove of Conway, five great-grandchildren Bailey, Hayden and Hadley Cotton, Rylan Hargrove and Maddison Hargrove.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 11th at 11:00am at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Greenbrier with burial immediately following at Republican Cemetery in Greenbrier. Serving as pallbearers will be his fellow deacons at Bethlehem Baptist Church. The family will welcome friends one hour prior to services at 10:00 am at Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Memorial donations can be made to the Bethlehem Baptist Church food pantry where he and his wife have served for five years.
