James Howard Messer, 68, of Greenbrier, Arkansas died Sunday, July 12, 2015 at his home after a long illness. He was born on October 27, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Howard and Estella (Holly) Messer. James was a retired supervisor with General Motors.
James is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Loretta (Baker) Messer; their four children, Todd Messer, Brian Messer (Melanie), Kimberly Patulak (Tom), and Melissa Rushing (Brannon); five grandchildren, Lexi Stanton, Sydney Moore, Logan Messer, Maleah Johnson, and Tyler Patulak, and a host of other family and friends. He is also preceded in death by his brother, David Messer.
The family will be gathering in his memory and to celebrate his life on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 from 6-8pm at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Roller McNutt Funeral Home.
