R. D. Langley, 67, of Greenbrier, Arkansas, died Thursday, December 27, 2007, at Conway Regional Medical Center. Mr. Langley was born July 7, 1940 in Guy, Arkansas a son of the late Darrell L. and Ruby (Tarkington) Langley. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Harold Langley.

R. D. was a member of Marcus Hill Baptist Church and was retired Security of SAS in Conway.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Nichols) Langley; daughters, Shelley Johnston and husband Mickey; Sheila Woodrome and husband Paul; a sister, Bonnie Shaw; grandchildren, Justin and Jade Woodrome and Kinley Johnston all of Greenbrier; and a number of nephews and nieces.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home on Saturday, December 29, 2007 between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, December 30 in the Chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Greenbrier with the Rev. Ray Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in Copperas Springs Cemetery at Guy with Justin and Paul Woodrome, Mickey Johnston, Robert Washko, Freddie Mark Wilcox, Weldon Ingram, Nathan and Shawn Bowie serving as pallbearers, the Revs. David Reynolds and Cecil Burgess will serve as honorary pallbearers. Services under the direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Greenbrier. 501-679-2575.
