SPRINGDALE — Sara Beth Parson, age 25, of Springdale, went to be with her Lord on March 9, 2013, at her home. She was born April 29, 1987, in Springdale, the daughter of Benjamin Thomas and Donna Clark.

She attended Christian Life Cathedral Church. She was preceded by her father; and grandparents, Henry Ford and Kathleen Parson.

Sara Beth was born visually impaired but was an inspiration to many people and was loved by all who knew her. She enjoyed martial arts and participated in Special Olympics, where she won many awards. She always had a smile and a quirky personality. She graduated summa cum laude from the Arkansas School of the Blind in 2006.

She is survived by her parents, John and Donna Clark Parson of Springdale; two brothers, Seth Parson and Sean Parson, both of Springdale; paternal grandmother, Francis Thomas of Bentonville; and maternal grandparents, Huston and Nancy Clark of Springdale.

Funeral services will be Thursday, March 14, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Harry Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow in Bluff Cemetery under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 13, 2013, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
