Lloyd Hefley, 72
Lloyd Wayne Hefley, age 72, of Cherokee Village, AR. died Saturday February 28th at his home. Lloyd retired this past year as the Mayor of Cherokee Village. He is also a retired Deputy Sheriff of the Las Angles County Sheriff Department, and a devoted member of the Wilson Masonic Lodge #432 F&AM. He is a Veteran of the U S Army serving in Germany.
He was born on March 26, 1942 in Oklahoma City, OK. The son of late Lloyd Devoe Hefley and Dorothy Mae (Graham) Hefley.
He is survived by a son James and wife Stephanie Hefley. Brother Gary Hefley, Sister Linda and husband Jim Krunsick Grandson Andrew and wife Carolyn Hefley, great grandson Matthew James Hefley.
Lloyd is preceded in death by his parents, wife Vickie Louise Hefley, son Guy Wayne Hefley and a brother Max Hefley.
Funeral service will be 10:00am Thursday at the Word of Life Church in Mountain Home, AR and burial will follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Yellville, AR. Under the direction of Wortham Funeral Home of Highland.
