Died in Lauratown, Lawrence County, Arkansas
Ed lived near Strawberry, AR. He was visiting family east of the Black River when he became ill and passed away. Apparently, while he was visiting, an overflow of the Black River occured. The roads back to Strawberry were impassable, so he was buried at Clover Bend.
