Armon Lynn “Buddy”. Moix, 51 of Greenbrier, affectionately known by his grandsons as “Pap”, was an outgoing and loving son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend passed away Monday, June 20, 2011. Buddy was a resident of Greenbrier, a member of The Church of Nazarene and a self-employed contractor working in the construction industry.

Buddy was preceded in death by his father, Bill Moix, step-father Carrol D. Ward, and sister Maiga Moix , all of Conway.

Survivors include his mother Sylvia Ward; two daughters: Candace Moix and Cami Moix (Kristopher); son, Heath Gotcher (Kristen); grandchildren Landyn Flake, Karson and Kolby Gotcher and a brother Billy Moix (Mandy) all of Greenbrier; a brother George (Dee) Freimanis of Choctaw; and a sister Angel Moix of Bryant.

Visitation will be at Roller McNutt Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, on Thursday, June 23. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, on Friday, June 24, at Greenbrier Church of the Nazarene. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway with Eric Horton, Pat Moix, Brooks Lewis, Jeff Lasley, Travis Short and Brian Hutchings serving as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Buddy Moix Memorial Fund at 1st Service Bank (Greenbrier location) and 1st Security bank ( all locations).
