Davis Carroll "Quincy" Hendrix went home to be with the Lord on July 13, 2006. Quincy is survived by his wife, Peggy Brown Hendrix of Bald Knob, formerly of Augusta; two daughters, Kathy Weatherford of Hunter, AR; Patti Woodell of Vilonia, AR; four grandsons, Josh McGhee of Hunter, AR; Jeremy Weatherford of Hunter, AR; Matt Woodell of Bald Knob; Chuck Weatherford of Odessa, TX; one granddaughter, Ashley Woodell of Vilonia, AR; five great grandsons, Thomas, Chase, Kade, Kye and Jalen; two great granddaughters, Jerrica and Kenna; one sister, Mildred Hickman of Bald Knob, AR. Quincy was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Dona Hendrix; three brothers, Gene, Ralph and Billy Hendrix; one sister, Wanda Brown.

Mr. Hendrix was a loving Father, Husband, Paw-Paw and was a member of Central Baptist Church. He was a retired construction worker out of Labor Local Union 75 and was a painter. He served as a volunteer on the Bald Knob Ambulance Service and was active in Youth Sports, where he enjoyed coaching baseball, soccer and pee-wee football. He was also a member of the Bald Knob Fire Department and Bald Knob Optimist Club.

Visitation will be held 6:00 – 8:00 PM Saturday, July 15, 2006 at Bald Knob Funeral Home. Services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, July 16, 2006 at Bald Knob Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Shady Grove Cemetery in Bald Knob, AR.
