Harley Dewayne Nash, age 54 of Greenbrier, died Thursday, June 20, 2002 at his home after a lengthy battle with cancer. Born March 29, 1948, he was the son of Betty Jones Nash of Greenbrier and the late Harley Travis Nash. He retired in 2001 as the superintendent of operations at Tellepsen Energy Services in Baytown, Texas, after more than 20 years. He was a 1966 graduate of Greenbrier High School and a 1970 graduate of Hendrix College. Other survivors include his wife, Sheila McKenzie Nash; one brother, Dwight Nash of Seattle, Washington; four sisters, Dianne Nash of Greenbrier, Dona Oakley of Holland, Rita Green of Galena, Kansas, and Debbie Nash of Quitman. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 22, 2002 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier with Bro. Jesse Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Republican Cemetery, Greenbrier, AR. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Doyce Winningham, Tom Watson, Danny Mallett, Jim Everett, Nicky Mahan, and David Stephens. Memorials may be made to Hospice Home Care.
