Mrs. Ruby Jean Takeya, age 65, of Palestine, died Thursday at her home in Palestine. Her death came sudden and unexpected.

Mrs. Takeya was born January 10, 1947, in Palestine, and was the daughter of Joe Hill and Dicie Floy Cleaver Hill. She lived in Palestine most of her life, was a nurse at Crestpark Retirement Inn in Forrest City, and was a Baptist.

Mrs. Takeya is survived by one daughter, Margie Hoots of Colt, one son, Sean Fagin of Cincinnati, Ohio, two brothers; J. C. Hill of Palestine, and Raymond Hill of Clinton, Arkansas, one sister, Willia Dean Rial of Burleson, Texas, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services for Mrs. Takeya will be held at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, with burial in Forrest Park Cemetery.
