Margaret Ellyn Lyle, resident of Searcy, left this life to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at the age of 67.
Mrs. Lyle was born April 8, 1940 in Austin, Texas, the daughter of Louis Robert and Margaret Ellyn Greewood Stuart. She was an insurance agent and attended St. James Catholic Church in Searcy.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Raymond Lyle; three sons, Robert and wife Carlene of Little Rock, Randall and his wife Cheyenne of Fort Worth, Texas, and Chris Lyle and his wife Ashley of Little Rock; brother-in-laws, Joe Lyle of Bald Knob and sister-in-law, Glinda Lyle of Searcy; grandchildren Carrie Lunceford and husband, Lee, Courtney and Kelsey Lyle and Taylor Lyle all of Little Rock; three great-grandchildren, Carson Brown, Olivia and McKenna Lunceford of Little Rock; nieces and nephews, Justin Stuart of Nashville, TN, Vanessa Skelton of Bozeman, MT, Jennifer Lyle of Bryant, Rebecca Lyle of Denver, Lisa Ramsey of Birmingham, AL, Charlie Martin of Little Rock, Sherry Peters of Searcy, Debbie Wadle of Odessa, TX, and Oneal Vaughan of Bakersfield, CA; numerous beloved relatives and friends.
Margaret Ellyn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who never met a stranger and was deeply loved by all whose life she touched. Margaret Ellyn's love, her laugh and sense of humor, and her love of Elvis and all around her will be greatly missed.
Given Margaret Ellyn's deep love for animals and her beloved pets, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Searcy, 112 Johnston Road, Searcy, AR.
