Wife of Lawrence E "Larry" Colvin
Mrs. Eloise Colvin, age 73, of Forrest City, died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2004, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City. Mrs. Colvin was born July 4, 1931, was a homemaker, cake decorator and member of the Widener Baptist Church.
Mrs. Colvin is survived by her husband, Lawrence Colvin of the home; two sons, James Marquis of Hillsboro, Tenn. and Timothy Marquis of Cherry Valley; a daughter, Diane Hill of Forrest City; two step-sons, Rev. Gerald Colvin and Rev. Dennis Colvin both of Forrest City; one sister, Lela Watkins of Memphis; 22 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Danny Marquis in 2003.
Visitation for Mrs. Colvin will be held on Thursday, Oct. 28, 2004, from 6 to 8 p.m., in the Chapel of Morgan Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Oct. 29, 2004, at 2 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forrest Park Cemetery.
