Lehman Leon Powell, 71, of Garner, Arkansas, died Tuesday, July 22, 2010 at the VA Hospital in Little Rock. Leon was an Army Veteran and had served in Germany as well as two tours in Vietnam. He was a retired over the road truck driver and was an avid outdoorsman.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Winnie Powell; a son, Mike Powell of Bald Knob; a daughter, Anita Powell of Cabot; grandchildren, Brandon and Seth Faircloth, Jessica Rosewell and Kelli Powell; great-grandchildren, Lainey and Donivan Powell; brother, Larry Powell of Amagon and a sister, Lottie "Bunny" Luster of McCrory.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 25, 2010 from 4-6 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home in Bald Knob. Graveside services, with military honors, will be Monday at 10:00 a.m. at the Shady Grove Cemtery. Llano Robinson will officiate. Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob - Judsonia.
