SPRINGDALE — David Milo Beck, age 60, of Springdale, died July 27, 2011, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale.

He was born Sept. 17, 1950, in Trona, Calif., the son of Milo Hoyt and Margaret Turner Beck. He was a machine operator at AERT Recycling Co. in Springdale.

Mr. Beck enjoyed being with family and friends, being outdoors and working crossword puzzles. He is survived by one son, Daniel David Beck and his wife, Amber, of Moses Lake, Wash.; one daughter, Mariah Swaffer and her husband, Matt, of Loveland, Colo.; two brothers, Wayne Beck of West Siloam Springs, Okla., and Mark Beck; eight sisters, Margaret Ware of Las Vegas, Nev., Laura Lile of Ridgecrest, Calif., Paula Cooper of Medford, Ore., Joanna Schroth of Scottsdale, Ariz., Rosemary Keeton of Canton, Ohio, Christina Gupton of Springdale, Ark., Priscilla Beck of Missouri and Drucilla Vendegna of Prescott, Ariz.; five grandchildren; and his companion, Carolyn Owens of Springdale, Ark.

Graveside services will be Monday, Aug. 1, 2011, at 4 p.m. at Bluff Cemetery, with Pastor John Arnold officiating, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Monday, Aug. 1, 2011, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home.
