Mr. Arthur "Bill" Evans-Lombe, Jr., age 81 of Mountain Home passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock. He was born October 17, 1932 in Ft. Worth, Texas to Arthur Glenn Evans-Lombe, Sr. and Sadie Mae Harpole Evans-Lombe. He married Shirley Shaw Clark on Dec. 28, 1982 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Mr. Evans-Lombe was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church.
He was also a 32nd degree Mason, a member of COPS Auxiliary and the Twin Lakes Gun Club.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Evans-Lombe of Mountain Home; a son, Glenn David (Patrice) Clark of Brandon, Mississippi; 5 daughters: Cynthia Lynn Julich of Sanford, N.C., Kathy Ann Higgenbotom of Metairie, Louisiana, Sandra Lee (Bill) Hanger of Staunton, Virginia, Anna Derrix (John) Watson of Franklinton, Louisiana and Elizabeth June Clark of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; a sister M.L. Elliott of Seaford, Delaware. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
A memorial service, conducted by The Reverend Jim McDonald will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday March 12, 2014 at St. Andrews Episcopal Church. Interment will follow in the St. Andrews Episcopal Church Columbarium.
Arrangements are under the direction of Twin Lakes Cremation Society & Funeral Home.
