Clarence A Knoble of Bee Branch passed away at his home on November 30, 2013. He was born in Kiefer, Oklahoma on May 13, 1922 to May Belle Griffith and James Walter Knoble. He was a World War II Veteran, having served in the North African Campaign, Sicily, Normandy landing, through the Battle of the Bulge, until the surrender of Germany. He achieved the rank of Staff Sargent and received the following commendations and medals: Combat Infantry, the Purple Heart, Good Conduct, Pre-War Ribbon, Presidential Citation (2), ETO Campaigns with 5 Bronze Stars.
In his later years of employment he was a truck driver and retired from Lasley Acoustics in Conway. Early in his life he was an avid coon hunter but after his retirement he enjoyed living in the country and watching the wild life as they passed through the front yard. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings. Two sons David and Walter Knoble and one daughter Sarah Bridges and a great granddaughter Aubrey Knoble.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary Margaret Ramer, Son Lloyd (Susan) Knoble, daughters Ann (Harold) Marable, Barbara (Ronnie) Kordsmeier and Linda Bryant. Grandchild: Chris Stone, Carla (Jeff) Jeans, Freddy Postlethwait, Matt (Natalie) Knoble, Marida Williams, Dakota (Jamie) Knoble, Shone Knoble, Clarence (Kim) Kellogg, Robert (Amber) Kellogg, Nichole (Randy) Ussery, Michael Kordsmeier, Jonathan Kordsmeier, Alex Kordsmeier, Zachary Kordsmeier, Chloe Kordsmeier, Ryan Hair, Scott Hair, and Haley Bryant and 22 great grandchildren.

Interment will be at Halbrooks Cemetery near the Austin Community a graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday December 4th, 2013. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Southern Christain Home in Morrilton, the Watershed project or the Charity of your choice
